Scholarships for the III CEMFI School of Economics on “Housing Markets: Constraints, Crisis, and Implications for Households” at UIMP in Santander

The III CEMFI School of Economics on “Housing Markets: Constraints, Crisis, and Implications for Households” will take place at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander on 29 June-1 July 2026.

  • Number and features of the scholarships: 10 scholarships in the amount of 500 euros, gross of tax withholding, which are meant to cover the expenses incurred in attending the course, i.e. course fees, meals, and lodging. The scholarships are incompatible with any scholarship granted by UIMP for this course.
  • Deadline for application: 28 May 2026. The decision on the applications will be made public no later than 2 June 2026.
  • Selection criteria: Academic merit. The selection shall conform to the principles of publicity, concurrence, objectivity, impartiality and non-discrimination.
  • Requirements:

Applicants must be nationals of a European Union member country or have a Foreigner ID card (NIE) that is valid for the period of the School. Applicants must be enrolled at the time of application in an undergraduate or graduate university degree in Economics or Business Administration. By the beginning of the School, applicants must have completed the next-to-last year of college, namely having obtained at least 120 ECTS credits.

  • Rights and duties of applicants who receive the scholarship:

Recipients of the scholarship will have the right to receive the amount of the scholarship no later than 30 September 2026. They must fill out the application form here, register in the course at UIMP here, and attend all its sessions.
