The II CEMFI School of Economics on “Social Challenges: Aging, Gender, and Immigration” will take place at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander on 30 June-2 July 2025.

• Number and features of the scholarships: 10 scholarships in the amount of 500 euros, gross of tax withholding, which are meant to cover the expenses incurred in attending the course, i.e. course fees, meals, and lodging. The scholarships are incompatible with any scholarship granted by UIMP for this course.
• Deadline for application: 22 May 2025. The decision on the applications will be made public no later than 2 June 2025.
• Selection criteria: Academic merit. The selection shall conform to the principles of publicity, concurrence, objectivity, impartiality and non-discrimination.
• Requirements:
  Applicants must be nationals of a European Union member country or have a valid Spanish ID card (NIE) for the duration of the course. By the beginning of the course, applicants must have completed the next-to-last year of college, namely having obtained at least 120 ECTS credits. Applicants must be enrolled at the time of application in an undergraduate or graduate university degree that involves a strong quantitative training such as Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a quantitatively-oriented Social Science.
• Recipients of the scholarship will have the right to receive the amount of the scholarship no later than 30 September 2025. They must fill out the application form here, register for the course here, and attend all its sessions.
