CEMFI has inaugurated the academic year 2025-2026 with the conference “Poverty Traps” given by Oriana Bandiera , Sir Anthony Atkinson Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics. The conference has been a great success of participation among faculty and students. During the ceremony, the awards to the Best Teacher of the academic year 2024-2025, the best Teaching assistant and the Best Third Year Paper were announced, which went to  Tom Zohar,  Eugenio Renedo, and  Jesus Villota, respectively.
